The Growing Food and Composting project will run a series of free workshops for would-be food growers in Redruth starting on Friday May 10th and continuing on the 17th and 24th of May, at the Elms, in Green Lanes, Redruth.
After 11 years of project activity, enabling greater community involvement in a wide range of environmental actions, the Board of Cornwall Waste Action (CWA) has decided to close the organisation down.
Cornwall Councillors have ruled out the possibility of adopting alternatives to controversial plans for a waste incinerator at St Dennis.
