All community organisations engaging in composting activities, need to be aware that changes are forthcoming for composting exemptions, which are a legal requirement.

The deadline for holders of an old style Paragraph 12 composting exemption to move to a new T23 composting exemption is October 1, 2011.

This is a very simple, quick process which can be completed online with the Environment Agency, for free.
