Cornwall Waste Action are working in partnership with Chyan Community Field, near Falmouth. Chyan has been funded by the Big Lottery’s Local Food fund and has now established regular volunteer tasks days, every Tuesday and Thursday, for more information about forthcoming volunteer tasks: Community allotments timetable .

The project is also cureently recruiting for a key volunteer to assist the Project Co-ordinator in her duties, this role requires a commitment of at at least one day per week and could be a usefull stepping stone for someone looking at a future career in the environmental or voluntary sector.
